International School Ikast-Brande (ISIB) is looking for a qualified Cambridge English teacher with experience teaching English to students from Year 7 – Year 11. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching IGCSE First Language English. Interviews will be arranged immediately as the Leadership Team would like to recruit in plenty of time before the start date. 

This is a full-time, permanent & pensionable position starting on Tuesday, 4 August 2026. The School: 

International School Ikast-Brande is located in the heart of Denmark and has approximately 200 students across Early Years, Primary and Secondary sections, with one class per year group. Our students are highly motivated and speak very positively about the school. We are committed to providing high-quality international education to families relocating to Denmark, as well as to local families seeking a rigorous international curriculum for their children.  

Our student body is wonderfully diverse, representing a wide range of nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We encourage our students to balance academic achievement with a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle. Salary: 

Salary and pension are determined in accordance with the collective agreement and union contract established between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Teachers’ Central Organisation. 

Please note that both local and international teachers are employed under the same pay scales and working conditions. 

While the school does not offer formal relocation packages, we are committed to supporting new staff and work closely with individuals to find practical and helpful solutions throughout their transition. To further assist international staff with their move, initial relocation support is provided during the first year of employment.
